The Wenatchee Sunrise Rotary Club believes that every student deserves a good education, but some at-risk students need incentives to finish high school. Your registration fees help us challenge these young people to stay in school, graduate, and go on to college, with a two-year scholarship.
Ann Dahl Thursday, 01 April 2010 17:21 Sunrise Rotary Century Bike Ride 2010 will be dedicated to the Memory of Anne Marie Dahl. Sunrise Rotary has lost one of its long time members Anne Dahl, who succumbed to ALS in March 2010. Anne was very active in our club throughout her membership, and served as President in 2000-2001. The Century Ride is the Club's primary fund raising activity, and the Club has long relied on Anne to organize and run the first pit stop, usually at the Entiat Fish Hatchery. When she was first assigned this task she enlisted many of the Club's women members to assist her, but always allowed a token male member. She was truly a brigh tlight at this pit stop, and will be remembered by most of the riders who passed through.
